Named after the 7th House (which represents the house of “partnerships “in astrology),
7th House Strings is a New York based classically-trained power couple specializing in creating arrangements and providing quality performances for events and artists. Whether it is studio sessions, arranging, private/corporate functions, weddings or television, 7th House Strings brings musical excellence to the entertainment industry.
Recently, 7th House Strings was featured in a Rolling Stones Magazine article for their work on a strings arrangement for a beautiful ballad written by Rohan Solomon.


Tiffany Weiss is the upper half of 7th House Strings, a violinist originally from Arizona. She graduated summa cum laude from Arizona State University with her Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Violin and Music Education and a Minor in Dance. She has played solo with orchestras, placed in music competitions, toured the US as a violinist in various productions, and has played with Grammy award winning artists.
When she isn’t performing, she has her own private music studio, teaches for different organizations in Manhattan, and works in her family’s 3rd generation owned business.

Matthew Kolodzieski is a freelance cellist from New Jersey. He graduated from Mannes School of Music at The New School with his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Cello Performance. He has played on movie scores, various studio sessions, orchestral performances, and private/corporate events.
When not freelancing, he is a full time music teacher in Manhattan and also has his own private cello students. He is also a huge fan of skateboarding!
