Tiffany Weiss is the upper half and founder of 7th House Strings. Originally from Arizona, she is a former classroom music teacher, which has now blossomed into a full time career as a freelance performing violinist performing with some of the biggest names in the industry.
Tiffany has recorded with Grammy winning artists, played on national television, performed solo with orchestra, as well as with NYC groups such as 8-Bit Big Band, NYChillharmonic, Little Kruta, and iconiQ Soundtrack Orchestra. You can find her most weekends performing on her electric violin alongside New York and New Jersey’s elite DJs in the industry. She is a proud triple threat, dancing or singing when the role calls for it!
Her previous work also included touring as a violinist for productions, judging young violinists in regional competitions, and orchestral subbing.

Tiffany graduated summa cum laude from the Herberger School of Music at Arizona State with her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music Performance & Pedagogy, Music Education, and a Minor in Dance.
When she isn’t performing, she spends her time reading up on astrology, biking around Manhattan, teaching Kindergarten Hebrew School, and also works in her family’s 3rd generation owned business.
Matthew Kolodzieski is the lower half and co-founder of 7th House Strings. He is a freelance cellist originally from New Jersey. He graduated from Mannes School of Music at The New School with his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Cello Performance.
Matthew has played on movie scores, studio sessions, performed solo with orchestra, as well as at private events & corporate functions. He is currently the lower strings orchestra director at Grace Church School, and a teacher for the New Jersey Youth Symphony Orchestra.
When not performing or teaching, you can find Matt either skateboarding, golfing, playing his Nintendo Switch, writing string arrangements, or working on his most recent home improvement project!
